Someone on the outside of a divorce may not recognize that, but this poem illustrates it perfectly. The vermin, garbage, demoralization, disappointment - the ugliness of it and the sorrow are captured and painted. But this line I found particularly poignant... "Order and peace and abundance and joy are the long work" Beautiful. The epic feel of this poem is perfect for the circumstance it is describing.
