This was an inspiring essay to read - I was feeling a little down and stuck with regards to a few poems I'm trying to revise - why is this so difficult, why won't these poems fall together, fall in, like a mass of well-trained soldier-words?

T.S. Davis describes the "suffering, mercy, redemption, despair" that a poet-nurse can't take their "eyes off of" - oh yeah, that's why these poems are difficult. It's the emotional content, not just the syllable count!

Thanks for the inspiration T.S. Davis, RN, POET
