Poets in Prose

Essays by Poets

Poets know how to write, even when there aren’t any line breaks. And sometimes we want a break from verse. This space is set aside for original and compelling writing on any subject loosely related to poetry. We’re especially interested in book reviews, but they have to be expansive and engaging, using the books as springboards to a broader discussion. As always, the views expressed may not necessarily reflect those of the editors; our goal is to encourage open discussion on any topics of interest to poets. Visit our Poets in Prose category on Submittable to submit your own work.
